NS SAVANNAH - BRIDGE

Image Size:
The bridge is where the ship is center for navigation and control of the ship.

The helmsman responds to orders from the officers by turning the wheel while looking at the gyrocompass repeater. There is also an autopilot.

Commands from the bridge are sent to the control room to change speed with the engine order telegraph.

The control station for the ship stabilization fins is located here as well.

Around the space are weather instruments, communications equipment, navigation lights controls, etc.

See the Radio Room located adjacent to the bridge.
See the Emergency Generator located aft of the bridge, another view.
